Outstanding resolution of 4K (4096 H x 2160 V) pixels
4K movies bring the visual experience enjoyed by the director right to the cinema audience and keeps cinema ahead of HD home entertainment. 4K resolution is the highest quality standard defined in the DCI specification and is four times the resolution of 2K (2048 x 1080) and HD (1920 x 1080).

A high contrast ratio of greater than 2000:1, the pure light source provided by a Xenon lamp combined with industry standard colorimetry ensure that the SRX-R220 provides outstanding image quality

The single 4.2KW Xenon lamp delivers the SMPTE brightness level of 14 ft-L on screens up to 20 metres in width (gain 1.8)
Comprehensive security systems conforming to the demanding requirements of digital cinema
The SRX-R220 projector chassis forms a security enclosure specifically developed to comply with the physical security and anti-tamper requirements specified by the DCI.
High Definition and DVI-D inputs included as standard
The SRX-R220 is fitted with flexible alternative content inputs enabling the projector to accept 2K (2048 x 1080), dual-link HD-SDI (4:4:4) and HD-SDI (4:2:2) as well as DVI-D
Single Xenon lamp operation
A single Xenon lamp is used for cost effective operation. The 4.2 KW lamp achieves 14 ft-L on screens up to 20m (gain 1.8)
Lens memory function
Optical resizing is used to ensure there is no compromise in quality when moving between image formats. The built-in lens memory function can be used to automatically zoom the lens to provide perfect images every time
